New Format! Our ECG/Pharmacology class is now delivered entirely online and offers even more flexibility to complete at your own pace. Starting March 9, the course will require just two live online sessions with our faculty and the rest of the course is self-paced so you can complete it on your schedule. Get the training you need to be successful in your ACLS or PALS class!

You will learn how to read an ECG – and about cardiac-related drugs.  You will walk into your ACLS/PALS class with confidence and a firm foundation to build on.

This is a great refresher for nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and physicians – and if you are an EMT you are welcome to join as well! EMTs and paramedics earn 16 hours of CE (6 instructor-led plus 10 non-instructor-led). The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care is an approved Continuing Education Provider for the California EMS (CEP #19-0307) and the California Board of Registered Nursing (CEP #12416).

All course materials will be provided in class. You can begin the course immediately after you register. Final exams must be completed within 2 weeks after the last instructor-led session.
