The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) course teaches an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of newborns for hospital staff caring for newborns at the time of delivery. The training introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation.
The program is designed for health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal resuscitation. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a two-year certification.
Prior to your course
Log on to www.aap.org/nrp prior to the course to purchase the book (6th edition - NRP) and complete the online examination (9 modules; $23.50). The NRP course must be taken within 30 days of completing the online examination. All students must complete the online exam and the NRP course; there are no longer any renewal courses.
