Giving to the Center

The Center for Prehospital Care offers several tuition scholarships for students. Donations to any fund are gratefully welcomed and can be made online via the links below, or by contacting the fund managers. In addition, the Center welcomes inquiries about contributions supporting our facilities development, EMS educational initiatives, and research. Marshall T. Morgan, MD Memorial Scholarship

Dr. Marshall T. Morgan was the longtime director of the UCLA Emergency Medicine Center and chief of the David Geffen School of Medicine Division of Emergency Medicine. In recognition of his compassion, commitment to education, and his many contributions to the practice of medicine, the Los Angeles County Medical Association has established the Marshall T. Morgan Memorial Scholarship, which will support both medical students and Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician students. For more information or to contribute, please visit the Marshall T. Mitch Sekine Memorial Scholarship

Mitch Sekine graduated from the UCLA Paramedic Program in 2005. He died tragically in an automobile accident in 2007. You can learn more about the scholarship fund established in his memory by his friends and family at the Mitch Sekine Scholarship page.

Ryan M. Sorek Memorial Scholarship

Ryan Sorek was a 2002 graduate of the UCLA Paramedic Program who died in 2007 as a result of lymphocytic myocarditis acquired via an on-duty exposure at the young age of 25. His family and friends, in partnership with Face Off With Cancer, have established the Ryan Sorek Memorial Scholarship.
