Dr. Atilla Uner Receives 2021 CalACEP Award

Dr. Atilla Uner, Medical Director, Paramedic Programs, has been selected as the 2021 recipient of California ACEP’s EMS Achievement Award.

The award is given to a member who has contributed significantly to the improvement of the quality and coordination of EMS within the larger emergency medical system.

This recognition reflects his demonstrated commitment to emergency medicine and his impact on EMS in California, not only as the Chair of the California EMS Authority Commission on EMS, but through the students he has trained as medical director of paramedic programs for the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care.

The California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (California ACEP) is a non-profit association representing California’s emergency physicians. California ACEP members are board-certified emergency physicians who practice in a wide array of emergency departments across the state.

Dr. Uner joins an elite list of prior recipients of this award and UCLA Center for Prehospital Care is pleased to offer our heartfelt congratulations on this honor.
