National Registry EMT-Paramedic Certification certifies that you as a paramedic have met the national competency requirements. Paramedics certified by National Registry can move from state to state and begin work with little or no retraining or examinations. Our Center is an approved location to bring you this important 1-day National Registry exam.
Prerequisites
Current California paramedic students must complete their field internship before sitting for the exam. Please visit the NREMT website under the "National Registry Paramedic Application" tab for information on the examination process and specific requirements.
Required Materials
You must bring your driver's license, National Registry Skills Sheets, and a #2 pencil to the exam.
Notes
Please complete and mail the National Registry Paramedic application to the National Registry prior to the test date. All Students must arrive on time to the exam (at 0800) to attend a mandatory briefing that is conducted by a National Registry Representative. There are no exceptions – if you arrive late you will not be allowed to test. Testing begins promptly after the briefing.
