Flipped Classroom Workshop

Marshall Morgan photo AAOS has released its new EMT Flipped Classroom products and are hosting roll-outs for how to flip your EMT classroom across the country this year. We are pleased to host the very first one here at UCLA next Thursday, May 3!

David Page will lead the workshop. We’ll be presenting the science behind a curriculum that is learner-centered, where class time is spent doing application and problem solving activities instead of lecturing and PowerPoint. You’ll get to see and use some of the Flipped Classroom materials and activities so that you know how to use them if you choose to move to this model of teaching. Whether you ultimately adopt these resources or not, there should still be something for everyone in terms of the science of learning, developing a portfolio of skill development, using scenarios to build thinking skills, etc.

The workshop is free, but you need to register at this link so that we know how many to expect. A light lunch is provided, but parking is $10 cash.
