Suzette Otlewis, RN, MSN, MICN

Suzette graduated from the Pasadena City College School of Nursing and earned a BSN from California State University , Dominguez Hills.  

She brings many diversified nursing experiences to her fire department nurse educator position at UCLA’s Center for Prehospital Care.  She initially worked in the psychiatry and acute spinal cord injury departments, before transferring to critical care where she worked for 14 years.  

After leaving the intensive care unit, Suzette moved to the emergency services unit at Arcadia Methodist Hospital, as well as a part-time post as a mobile intensive care nurse at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center. 

She has been the prehospital care coordinator at AMH for the past five years.  Suzette does the same for the Arcadia and Monrovia Fire Departments, as well as being their nurse educator.

Suzette also works with the Nursing Diversion Committee for the State of California Board of Registered Nursing, helping troubled nurses get their lives under control and licenses reinstated. 

Suzette is highly regarded by her colleagues for her quality patient care and no-nonsense approach to solving problems.
