Nick Montano, EMT Nick is an EMT program coordinator and educator. He was appointed to this part-time post after starting at the Center for Prehospital Care as an EMT clinical instructor in 2005. He started in emergency services with the Oakland Fire Department. As soon as he finished his initial EMT training, the department asked him to teach those skills to others. After working briefly as a firefighter in Arlington County, Virginia, he returned to Los Angeles where he joined the Center, while also working for the Gerber and McCormick ambulance companies in Santa Monica and South Los Angeles. |
