About the Center Welcome

Recognized worldwide as a leader in prehospital education and research, the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care is an advocate for the development of quality EMS systems. The activities of the Center continue to positively impact the UCLA Medical Center, the David Geffen School of Medicine and the EMS community locally, nationally and internationally.

The Center designs, develops and offers emergency medical Educational Programs to the meet the needs of the UCLA community and general community at large. Students backgrounds range from the lay public to Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Medical Students, Residents and Physicians.

The Center is the leading prehospital academic resource on the west coast that combines education and research of prehospital and emergency medicine into one organization.
